Join us in creating a Multicultural Advisory Committee (MAC) to enhance communication and address racial disparities in policing to better serve Roseville’s richly diverse community.
The MAC seeks culturally, educationally and professionally diverse members with strong connections and commitment to Roseville. Members will decide the work and focus of the MAC.
The MAC will advise the Police Department on the current needs of the communities they represent with a focus on addressing racial barriers and inequities.
When and Where?
Once established, the MAC will meet on a monthly basis, at a mutually agreed upon space, to discuss topics important to their communities.
Through facilitating open dialogue and understanding between police and our multicultural community, the MAC can develop relationships, improve trust and legitimacy in policing and build a safe and livable community for all Roseville residents and visitors.
