The City of Roseville has compiled the following information for residents, students and businesses to help answer questions and assist those seeking help accessing to services and resources.

FOR RESIDENTS & STUDENTS

For concerns about broadband or telephone activity, the Federal Communications Commission has put together resources aimed at keeping Americans connected:

Whether you’re a student, or a parent of a student attending the Mounds View School District or the Roseville Area School District, both have pulled together a variety of resources, including getting meals to students, access to electronic devices, childcare, etc. These resources can be found at the below links:

Out of work and need to file for unemployment insurance?

Need employment assistance?  Visit Ramsey County’s employment assistance webpage:

Heard something about COVID-19 and wonder if it’s true?  FEMA is maintaining a “rumor control” webpage:

Looking for general health information related to COVID-19.  Ramsey County has assembled a variety of information in one place, including information for the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).  Also available via the below link is access to a federally qualified Community Health Center for those who lack a primary care doctor or those who are uninsured, as well as the phone numbers for COVID-19 state hotlines.

Want to help medical professionals and first responders?  Blue Cross and Allina have teamed up and launched a skilled volunteer effort to create masks for hospitals and clinics.  The following link provides a video tutorial on how to make masks and a list of hospitals accepting donations.  Donations are being accepted from March 22 through April 5 from 9am-1pm.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) has assembled a webpage of information and resources for workers:

Don’t be a victim of a COVID-19 scam. Before donating, check the Minnesota Attorney General’s website to see if the organization you want to donate to is registered. The Minnesota Attorney General’s website has a variety of information for the public on various charities.  

Many of us are utilizing various cleaning and hand sanitizing wipes.  These should NOT be flushed down the toilet.  See below link for more information:

The Anxiety and Depression Association of America has posted a guide on how to manage anxiety and isolation during quarantine.


FOR BUSINESSES

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) has posted information and resources for employers and businesses, including how to access small business emergency loans.

On April 1, DEED released "A Guide for Small Businesses Who Need Help" which includes information about the DEED Small Business Guarantee Program

Ramsey County has consolidated various resources to help ready and recover your business and workforce from the impacts of COVID-19. 

The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce has created a business toolkit that is updated daily as new information and resources become available.

The Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce has created a webpage, updated daily, providing COVID-19 updates and resources for business.

The Minnesota Department of Revenue has posted their response to COVID-19, including extensions for a variety of income and business tax deadlines.

The Internal Revenue Service has posted various COVID-19 tax relief information, including extended deadlines.
