greencorps group

Minnesota GreenCorps is seeking applicants. Coordinated by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, Minnesota GreenCorps is looking for individuals to serve in local governments, including the City of Roseville.

Roseville is looking for a person interested in addressing the reduction of greenhouse gases. Projects may include being involved in the city’s Partners in Energy application, researching future solar installations, starting a building energy benchmarking program or other topics of interest.

MN GreenCorps members improve the environment and strengthen communities, while gaining green job skills and networking with environmental professionals. Member activities include delivering environmental education, implementing sustainability-related projects, collecting, benchmarking and analyzing data, improving habitat, implementing recycling programs, collaborating with community members, or mobilizing volunteers.

MN GreenCorps members receive a monthly living allowance, health insurance, student loan forbearance, and an education award that may be used for future education expenses or qualified student loans.

Positions with non-profits organizations and educational institutions are also available. Visit to learn more about the program, review position summaries, and apply online. If you have questions, contact Minnesota GreenCorps at or 651-296-6300.
