[ARCHIVED] WaterFest 2020 Cancelled

Waterfest logo

The annual Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD) WaterFest celebration of clean lakes scheduled for Saturday, May 30, has been cancelled.

Each year, RWMWD sponsors an event to raise awareness about the activities in our neighborhoods and the impact those activities can have on the health of local lakes, streams and wetlands.

Even though WaterFest has been cancelled this year, the City of Roseville encourages residents to visit or call 651-647-6816 to get clean water tips and learn about grant opportunities for such things as rain gardens, native plant landscaping and shoreline restoration that residents can use to improve water quality.

In addition to Roseville, RWMWD includes sections of Gem Lake, Landfall, Little Canada, Maplewood, North St. Paul, Oakdale, St. Paul, Shoreview, Vadnais Heights, White Bear Lake and Woodbury. RWMWD works to protect and improve local water quality and natural resources.
