2020 Legislative Priorities

The Roseville City Council approved the city’s 2020 legislative priorities during its Monday, January 27 meeting. Legislative priorities are items and issues that the City of Roseville directly supports and will engage the Minnesota Legislature to pass and implement. Topping the list of highest priority items is financial support through the state’s 2020 bonding bill for $5 million in capital improvements for the Guidant John Rose Minnesota OVAL and support facilities. Read more

The Rice & Larpenteur Alliance invites neighbors to join them on Saturday, February 1 for a community gathering that will include a lunch buffet and a progress report from the Rice & Larpenteur Alliance since adopting the Vision Plan in 2018. A buffet lunch from Nepali Kitchen will be available between 11:30 a.m. to -1:00 p.m. A short program with remarks from Rice & Larpenteur Alliance leaders and a question and answer session will begin at 12:30 p.m. The event will end by 1:30 p.m. Read more

Employers, let us help you find new employees. Register your business today for a career and resource fair on Tuesday, February 25. It will be an opportunity for business owners and hiring managers to meet students from area schools, regional adult education programs and community agencies and members of the public. Businesses, please register by February 14. The City of Roseville and the Roseville Area Schools are sponsoring the career fair. Read more

Police Virtual Ride Along

Join Roseville Police on a virtual ride along from the comfort of your own home. RPD officers will join officers from 17 other Minnesota law enforcement agencies on Friday, January 31 to live tweet a day at work. Officers will tweet activities as time allows. Rose Parade

2020 Rose Parade

Planning for the 2020 Rose Parade is underway. This year’s parade will be on Monday, June 29 and there are many ways to get involved. Want to have a spot in the parade? Applications will be available on Monday, February 3. Want to help plan the parade? The parade planning committee is currently recruiting volunteers. Want to help run the parade on the day of the parade? Banner carriers, course marshals and staging assistants are needed on parade day. Read more
