State of the City

State of the City Address

The City of Roseville invites you to hear Mayor Dan Roe present the State of the City Address. Mayor Roe will give the address at the Roseville Business Council meeting on Wednesday, February 26. He will reflect on the past year’s accomplishments and challenges and look forward to what will be happening in the community in 2020. Video of Mayor Roe’s speech will be available on the city’s website, Facebook page and YouTube account. Online Police Reports

The Roseville Police Department’s online crime reporting tool recently completed its first year on the job and initial reports are positive. The department launched the tool for residents to report non-emergency crimes such as damage to property, theft, fraud and forgery, or harassment without a visit from an officer or a trip to the police station late in 2018. For 2019, the first full year of data available, a total of 790 incidents were reported through the online tool. Read more

Helping your Snowplow Driver

Helping your Snowplow Driver  

Whether two inches of snow or 10, it’s a challenge for Roseville’s snowplow drivers to quickly and safely clear the roads. Roseville has more than 350 lane miles and nearly 70 miles of sidewalks and pathways to clear after each snow event. It takes up to eight hours to plow the city following a four-inch snowfall, and the more snow that falls, the longer it takes. Roseville’s snowplow operators remind drivers of the guidelines so they can plow quickly and efficiently. Read more

Fix-It Clinic

Don’t toss it, fix it. Ramsey County is hosting a series of Fix-It Clinics at the Ramsey County Libraries throughout the north metro, including at the Roseville branch at 2180 Hamline Ave in May. Bring small household appliances, clothing, electronics or other items that need to be repaired to the date-appropriate library location from noon to 3:00 p.m. Volunteers will provide free guided assistance to help disassemble, troubleshoot and fix items. Quilt Display

Quilt Display Returns to City Hall

The artistry of quilting returns to City Hall. An exhibition of the Minnesota Contemporary Quilters 2019 challenge Songspiration will be on display through Friday, March 13, weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Songspiration features imaginative interpretations of songs that have inspire members. Whether they listen to jazz, classical, folk, rock or rap, these quilts highlight the inspiring role that music can have in our lives. Read more
