Roseville License Center, Passport Center Resuming Operations
The City of Roseville License Center and Passport Center, located at 2737 Lexington Ave. N., are set to resume operations on Monday, May 18, on an appointment-only basis. Roseville City Hall and other city buildings will remain closed to the public for the time being under Minnesota Governor Tim Walz Stay Safe MN executive order announced May 13.
The Roseville License Center will resume processing Driver's License applications, Motor Vehicle transactions and DNR/Fish and Game applications. Appointments can only be made through its online appointment scheduling tool beginning Friday, May 15 at 4:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment, click the “Schedule an Appointment” link at www.cityofroseville.com/licensecenter.
Appointment times are available from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. The License Center is not currently open for weekend appointments.
The License Center will continue to offer mail-in and drop-box processing services for vehicle and DNR registration renewals for customers that do not require in-person transactions. There is a 48 hour turnaround time on registration renewals processed through the mail or drop box. The Roseville Passport Center will also resume operations by appointment on Monday, May 18. The Passport Center can process applications for new passports and passport cards and provides passport photo services.
Passport appointments can only be made through the online scheduling tool by clicking the “Schedule an Appointment” link at www.cityofroseville.com/passports. Appointments may be scheduled beginning Friday, May 15 at 4:30 p.m. Appointment times are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Passport Center is not currently open for weekend appointments.
Both the Roseville License Center and Passport Center have installed physical barriers (sneeze guards) where possible and have social distancing makers on the floor. Staff are working on “no touch” and “limited touch” procedures to limit contact and have dedicated staff that will be cleaning between appointments.
Customers visiting the License Center or Passport center are encouraged to wear masks and utilize the provided hand sanitizer available on site.
