City Offices Closed Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Roseville city offices, including the License Center, will be closed on Monday, January 18 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Roseville Police and Fire will remain on duty. Garbage and recycling services will not be affected by the holiday.


Commission Openings

Advisory Commission Openings

The Roseville City Council is seeking applicants for vacancies on several commissions. Commissions serve as voluntary advisory boards to the City Council. Commissioners will be appointed to three-year terms that begin April 1, 2021, and run through March 31, 2024. Additional advisory commissions information is available online. The application deadline is Wednesday, March 10. Applicants will be interviewed at the City Council meeting on Monday, March 15. Read more

Parks and Recreation Update

With the release of new Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) COVID-19 Mitigation Guidance, the forthcoming expiration of portions of Executive Order 20-103 and a reduction in the local and statewide case count, several Roseville Parks and Recreation operational changes are anticipated. Many recreational programs resumed January 4. Other programs that require competition are anticipated to resume on Thursday, January 14.

Conversations with Constituents

Conversations with Constituents

Elected officials representing Roseville and surrounding communities will take part in a Conversations with Constituents sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the Roseville Area (LWV) on Thursday, January 21 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Ramsey County Commissioners and Minnesota legislators representing the communities of Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, Little Canada, Maplewood and Roseville have been invited to attend the virtual meeting. Read more

RSVL A/D Announces New Series

The Roseville Alzheimer’s and Dementia Community Action Team (RSVL A/D) had teamed up with Alzheimer’s Speaks to produce Dementia: Caring & Coping during the Pandemic, a new series of virtual presentations for 2021. The series will be webcast on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) throughout the months of January and February and available for live and on-demand viewing at www.alzheimersspeaks.com. Read more

Keep Hydrants Clear

Keep Fire Hydrants Clear

With more than 2,150 fire hydrants in Roseville, keeping them accessible in winter can be a challenge. That is why the City of Roseville is asking for residents’ help. Roseville has an informal “Adopt a Hydrant” program. When the snow stops falling and it’s time to clear your driveway, Roseville firefighters encourage residents, businesses, youth groups and individuals to clear a three-foot area around the fire hydrant closest to your home or business.
