RSVL A/D to Host Two-Part Series

Roseville’s Alzheimer’s & Dementia Community Action Team (Rsvl A/D) is hosting a two-part series in January and February designed to help determine whether a loved one with dementia can safely be cared for at home. Part one, Resources to Stay at Home, will be held on Thursday, January 12 with part two, Is it Time to Consider a Move?, following on Thursday, February 9. Celebrate Chinese New Year

On Sunday, January 29, Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) in Roseville will celebrate the Year of the Rooster at its annual open house from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Whether in folklore, artwork, or your favorite recipe books, birds have played a significant role in our lives. Compare bird eggs, taste our chicken soup, make a feather craft, and try Ukrainian egg-dyeing, all while enjoying some of the fun customs of Chinese New Year. Read more...

Sweetheart Dance

Sweetheart Dance 

Dads, grandpas, uncles and other special persons in the lives of a little princess, Roseville Parks and Recreation invites you to join us for a Sweetheart Dance. It’s a night of dancing to classic favorites and new, hot kids’ tunes. The Roseville dance floor will be open from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m., for girls ages 3 to 10. Reminder: Keep Gas Meters Clear

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety Office of Pipeline Safety urges residents to make sure gas meters are clear of ice and snow accumulation that can block the regulator vent. If you heat your home or operate appliances with natural gas, you likely have a gas meter on the outside of your building. The gas meter has a pressure regulator vent that must be unobstructed to work properly. If the vent is covered with snow or ice, the gas regulator won’t work correctly. Read more...
