Snelling Avenue Construction

Learn about improvements that are in the works for Snelling Avenue. The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites residents to an open house on Monday, March 13. The open house will be held at Falcon Heights City Hall, 2077 West Larpenteur Avenue, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. There will be no formal presentation, but project staff will be on hand to answer questions about the Snelling Avenue construction project between that is scheduled to begin in April.. Read more

Sewer Project – Meeting Added

Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES), operator of the metro-area wastewater collection and treatment system, is hosting two meeting regarding improvements to sanitary sewer facilities that serve Roseville. The first meeting is on Wednesday, March 8 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. At the meeting, the Met Council will discuss improvements that are being made at Upper Villa Park. Read more

Hospice, Palliative Care, & Dementia

The Roseville Alzheimer’s and Dementia Action Team’s popular Caring & Coping series continues in March with a discussion about hospice and palliative care on Thursday, March 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Ramsey County Library in Roseville. The discussion will focus on hospice and palliative care with specific reference to persons with dementia and those caring for them. Dr. Julie Benson, Minnesota Network of Hospice and Palliative Care, will be the featured speaker. Read more

Buckthorn Busters

Roseville is looking for volunteers to join our Natural Resources Renewal efforts to improve city parks. On Saturday, March 18, we’ll be dragging and stacking cut buckthorn at Materion Park, 225 Minnesota Ave. Each month, Roseville hosts a volunteer opportunity at one of the local parks as part of the natural resources renewal project. It includes an educational component and status update of the natural resource restoration efforts. Read more
