Roseville Officers Receive Awards

Congratulations Roseville Police Officer Tom Pitzl and Community Services Officer Ku Tha Tee. On Wednesday, April 5, both received awards from the Minnesota Campus Compact. Pitzl received a 2017 Presidents’ Community Partner Award for his work in the Law Enforcement Mentoring Program at Century College. Tee, who is also a Century College student, was recognized with a Student Leadership Award. Read more

New Sidewalk Coming to Larpenteur

The City of Roseville is adding a sidewalk along Larpenteur Ave. from the Ramsey County Dog Park to Galtier St. to improve pedestrian safety and to connect the neighborhood. The half-mile sidewalk will connect to the rest of Roseville’s pathways and sidewalks. The City is partnering with Ramsey County to add the eight foot concrete sidewalk on the north side of Larpenteur Ave. Read more

Severe Weather Awareness Week

Severe Weather Awareness Week

April 17-21 is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Minnesota. Roseville Fire and Police ask residents and businesses to review emergency plans for taking shelter in case of severe weather. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety promotes a better understanding of different types of severe weather and what you can do to protect yourself and your family. Earth Day at HANC

Celebrate Earth Day. Join us at Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) on April 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a fun-filled day that celebrates our planet. Activities include planting a tree and butterfly-friendly plants, parade, tours, crafts, displays, and an Earth Day birthday cake. Will Hale and the Tadpole Parade will provide music and entertainment starting at 10:30 a.m. HANC is located at 2520 N. Dale Street. Read more

One World, Same Sky

One World Under the Same Sky

The Roseville Human Rights Commission, along with the support of the Roseville Area Community Foundation, are proud to join Roseville Area High School as they present One World Under the Same Sky, on Wednesday, April 26. One World Under the Same Sky is a free, student-led celebration of the diverse Roseville Area School community. The community celebration will take place on from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roseville Area High School, 1240 County Road B2, Roseville. Read more

Seniors, welcome to the Roseville Ice Arena. This April we are offering several special skating experiences for you to skate with your peers in a safe, friendly environment. On Mondays, from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m., we offer Open Hockey for skaters 70 years and older. On Tuesdays, from 11:30 to 12:45 p.m., we offer Open Hockey for skaters 50 years and older, and on Thursdays, from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m., we offer Open Hockey for skaters 60 years and older. Senior recreational skaters, the arena is all yours from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m. on Wednesdays. Read more
