Rosefest

City Offices Closed July 4

Roseville City offices, including the License Center, will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, in celebration of Independence Day. Roseville Police and Fire remain on duty. Recycling and garbage service will be one day later than usual Tuesday through Friday because of the holiday. Please drive carefully and buckle up this holiday.

Party in the Park

Join your friends and neighbors for a hometown Fourth of July celebration in Central Park. The City of Roseville is planning tons of fun for everyone. Games, rides, and food trucks begin at 1:00 p.m. at Central Park located on Lexington Ave., just south of County Road C. Bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy a variety of musical entertainment at the Frank Rog Amphitheatre, and stick around for fireworks over Bennett Lake at 10:00 p.m. Read more

Staff Awarded

Parks and Rec Staff Receives Award

Congratulations to the Roseville Parks and Recreation Department and Supervisor Matthew Johnson for receiving the 2016 Award of Excellence in Communications from the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association. Johnson was recognized for his innovative Adult Sports Virtual Managers’ Meeting. Annually, Minnesota Recreation and Park Association (MRPA) presents awards of excellence for notable parks and recreation projects and programs. Read more

Safety First with Fireworks

It’s tradition - parades, cookouts and fireworks to celebrate the summer season, especially our nation's birthday on the Fourth of July. But before you set off fireworks, plan carefully so no one gets hurt. Most fireworks injuries occur in June and July, and the most common firework injuries are to children and teens being burned by firecrackers and sparklers. Non-explosive and non-aerial fireworks that emit sparks, are legal in Roseville. Read more

Night to Unite

Register your Block Party

It’s never too early to start planning. Roseville’s community-wide Night to Unite is coming up on August 1. Get a jump on the crowd, register your gathering and you could get a free picnic bag of goodies for your event. All Roseville block parties registered by Friday, July 21 will have their names placed in a drawing to have Outback Steakhouse cater their event on August 1. The winner will be notified on Monday, July 24. Last year Roseville residents hosted more than 90 registered block parties. Read more

Park Champions

The City of Roseville offers thanks and a round of applause for the dedication and support of Adopt-a-Park volunteers, who remove litter, maintain garden beds and keep a protective eye on their designated City park. Thanks, volunteers, for sharing your time and assisting park staff in maintaining Roseville’s extensive park system to the standard that residents and visitors enjoy. Several parks remain available through the Adopt-a-Park program. Read more
