A Pollinator-Friendly Community

The sharp decline of pollinators has made many communities sit up and take notice. The City of Roseville recently joined the growing list of Minnesota cities to adopt a pollinator-friendly resolution. Roseville already has many established programs and practices designed to help protect pollinators, including preserving natural areas, enhancing habitat and using native plants. The City also limits its use of insecticides and herbicides in its landscaping. Read more

Natural Resources Renewal

Make an impact on Roseville parks and natural resources. Roseville is looking for volunteers on August 19, to help pull invasive plants from the Oasis Park shoreline as part of our Natural Resources Renewal efforts. Each month, Roseville hosts a volunteer opportunity at one of the local parks as part of the natural resources renewal project. It includes an educational component and status update of the natural resource restoration efforts.  Read more

Catch “Sing” at the OVAL

Enjoy a movie under the stars. Join Roseville Parks and Recreation on Friday, August 18 for an evening of free family fun. We are showing Sing, the 3-D computer animated movie. The adventure begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Roseville OVAL, 2661 Civic Center Drive. Bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on.
