Fire and Fall Prevention

Older adults are at higher risk of injury from falls and fires. Please join the Roseville Fire Department for a presentation for older adults about fire and fall prevention on Monday, November 20 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Roseville Fire Station, 2701 Lexington Ave. Remembering When is a safety program that uses trivia, humor and nostalgia to teach older adults ways to protect themselves from fires and falls. Leaf Compost Site Closing Soon

The Roseville Leaf Compost Site will close for the season on November 22. Roseville residents who still have leaves after that date can take them to a free Ramsey County Yard Waste site. Ramsey County Yard Waste sites are open throughout the winter. For locations, hours and items that are accepted, visit Ramsey Recycles or call 651-633-EASY (3279), answered 24/7. You can also contact your trash hauler to remove yard waste.

Skate on Thanksgiving

Skate Calories Away

Planning to sneak an extra piece of pie this Thanksgiving? Go ahead and indulge, then forget the guilt and head over to the Minnesota OVAL to skate the extra calories away. Skating burns up roughly 500 calories per hour, so spending time on the ice is a healthy way to cap off your Thanksgiving Day. On Thanksgiving, the Minnesota OVAL will be open from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. for skating and hockey. Cost is $6.00 and skates are available to rent for $4.00. Read more

Roseville city offices, including the License Center, will be closed on Friday, November 10 to commemorate Veterans Day and November 23 and 24 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
