Budget and Tax Levy Hearing

The Roseville City Council will hold its final hearing on the 2018 budget and tax levy on Monday, December 4. The meeting represents the final chance for residents to weigh in on the 2018 budget. Maintenance Worker Receives Award

Congratulations to Joshua Dix, Working Foreman for Roseville’s Public Works Department. On November 17, the American Public Works Association Minnesota Chapter (APWA-MN) awarded Dix with the 2017 APWA-MN Maintenance Person of the Year. Dix started working for the City of Roseville in 2009. His accomplishments include leading Roseville’s effort to become one of the first Level 2 certified cities in the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Smart Salt Training program. Read more

Holiday Donations

Spread a little holiday cheer. The Roseville Police Department is collecting donations to support the Keystone Community Services Food Shelf, and they are asking for the community’s help. Officers and police staff are collecting non-perishable food items, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, feminine products, laundry soap and other personal items. Cash and checks will also be accepted. Donations will be accepted at the Roseville Police Department. Read more

Speedskaters to Compete at OVAL

Looking for a fun family outing? Visit the Minnesota OVAL on December 1, 2 and 3 to see great speedskaters compete. You may even see some future Olympians in training. The OVAL is hosting the John Rose Open, an open speedskating competition that draws skaters as young as 10 to skaters in their 50s to compete in a friendly competition. Skaters put on an impressive show with some racers skating up to 25 and even 30 miles an hour. Read more
