New Year’s Eve on Ice

Ring in the New Year on Ice! Bring your family and meet your friends at the Roseville Skating Center, 2661 Civic Center Drive. Join us for the Midwest’s largest skating party on Sunday, December 31. The excitement begins at 2:30 and lasts until 10:00 p.m. We’ve got tons of fun waiting for you. Skate indoors in the arena or outdoors on the OVAL. Warm up in the banquet area, try the bounce castle, get your face painted and catch a magic show. Read more

City Hall Displays Artwork

Stop in at City Hall from December 26 to February 28 and see the artistry of the Outdoor Painters of Minnesota. You will find 47 pieces of landscape paintings celebrating Roseville’s parks. Outdoor Painters of Minnesota and the Roseville Visitors Association have sponsored a landscape painting competition. Participating artists have been painting in Roseville parks and public spaces since September. Read more

Let's Skate! 

Skating won’t take a holiday at the Roseville Skating Center. Bring your family and join your friends for some wholesome family fun. The Minnesota OVAL offers special hours over the next several days. Admission is $6.00 unless otherwise noted. A limited number of skates are available to rent for $4.00, or bring your own skates. What to do with your Christmas Tree

The holidays will soon be over and it’ll be time to take down the decorations, but what do you do with the Christmas tree? You can dispose of natural trees, wreaths and other greenery free at a Ramsey County Yard Waste Site. All decorations, including tinsel and lights, must be removed. Flocked trees are not accepted at yard waste sites. Collection sites are open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays through March. Read more

Reserve a Park Shelter

Reserve a Park Shelter

Start making summer plans. Reservations for Roseville’s Central Park shelters open January 2. Staff will begin taking reservations at 8:00 a.m. Roseville offers four picnic shelters for rent from April 15 to October 15. They include a kitchenette, electricity, water, restrooms, picnic tables and grills. Shelters have easy access to play areas and walking trails and other amenities. Cross-Country Skiing

Have fun in the snow! Roseville Parks and Recreation is offering cross-country ski classes. Classes are designed for beginners and advanced beginners combined in one class. Classes meet from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on January 13 and 14 or January 27 and 28. Participants 8 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Small class sizes so you’ll get lots of personal attention. Cost is $37 or $29 for Roseville residents. Read more
