Roseville Candidates Announced

Three candidates filed for Roseville Mayor and six candidates have filed for two City Council seats. The city will hold a primary on Tuesday, August 14 to narrow the field for the November general election. The city primary will reduce to pool to four candidates for the two city council seats and two candidates for the mayor’s seat. Community Building Open House

The City of Roseville is giving residents a sneak peek of the new Cedarholm Golf Course Community Building, 2323 Hamline Ave. The Parks and Recreation Department is hosting an open house at the new facility on Friday, June 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The open house is an opportunity for golfers, neighbors and residents alike to see the new building and explore its amenities. Run, Roll for the Roses

Run, Roll for the Roses

Join the fun at Roseville’s Run and Roll for the Roses on Saturday, June 23. Runners can participate in a 10K, 5K or half-mile family fun run. Skaters can choose from the 10K Pro or the 10K Recreational divisions. The 5K and 10K races begin at the corner of Hamline and County Road C at 7:55 a.m. The course takes runners through Roseville’s beautiful neighborhood streets and park trails. The Family Fun Run begins at approximately 9:15 a.m. at the OVAL. Read more

Natural Resources Renewal

Help Maintain Roseville Parks

Make an impact on Roseville parks and natural resources. On Saturday, June 16, we’re looking for volunteers to help maintain the rain garden at Lexington Park. Each month, Roseville hosts a volunteer opportunity at one of the local parks as part of the natural resources renewal project. It includes an educational component and status update of the overall natural resource restoration efforts. Groups, individuals, and families are encouraged to participate. Read more

Fridays with Firefighters

Spend a Friday with a firefighter. Join us for a scavenger hunt, spray the fire hose, learn how you can prevent a fire, climb aboard a fire truck, and more fun. Specially designed for kids 12 years and younger. Stop by the Roseville Fire Station any time between 10:00 a.m. and noon on June 22, July 13 and 27, and August 3 and 17. The station is located at 2701 Lexington Ave N. Please park in the City Hall parking lot and walk over to the fire station. Read more

Puppet Wagon

Puppet Wagon Performances

Kids, visit your local park for a free puppet wagon show. The Roseville Puppet Wagon will present 15-minute shows on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at local parks starting June 19 through August 9. New shows each week offer fun and surprises. The puppet wagon preview party is on June 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Kinderberry Hill, 2360 Lexington Ave. No shows on July 3, 4 or 5, but catch two performances at the July 4 Party in the Park at Central Park.
