2020 Budget and Levy

Preliminary Budget, Levy Approved

The Roseville City Council approved a preliminary property tax levy increase of 5.1 percent for 2020 during its Monday, September 23 meeting. The 5.1 percent increase is now the maximum amount the City Council can raise the 2020 property tax levy. State statute requires cities to adopt a preliminary tax levy and budget by September 30 for the upcoming fiscal year. Once the preliminary levy is adopted it can be lowered, but not increased. CPR Class at Library

Got an hour – learn how to save a life. Roseville firefighters invite you to a free, hands-only cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) class at the Ramsey County Library in Roseville on Monday, October 7. Firefighters will teach an easy-to-learn hands-only CPR technique. They will bring mannequins for participants to practice hands-only CPR. Hands-only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by anyone who sees a person collapse. Read more

Fire Prevention Week

Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan and Practice Your Escape. Roseville firefighters remind you that when it comes to fire safety, anyone can be a hero. It's easy to do. Encourage your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to develop and practice an escape plan in case of a fire. Though seemingly simple, basic actions can have a life-saving impact. An escape plan includes working smoke alarms on every level of the home, in every bedroom and near all sleeping areas. Read more
