This program is designed for 12-16 year olds to gain work experience by volunteering with summer programs in a recreation employment setting.
• Learn from experienced staff who will serve as mentors.
• Build resume work experience for future employment opportunities.
• Make a difference and be a role model to area youth.
• Have fun, gain leadership skills, meet other kids.
You will assist staff with daily activities. LITs can pick a program or two that best fits their interests and skills as well as works in their busy schedules. This way you can best show off your leadership skills and be an effective assistant!
