Commissions and Boards
The City has eight citizen advisory commissions that review specific areas of interest and provide advice to the City Council. The City also has two boards: the Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board and the Variance Board.

Commissioners typically serve 3-year terms and HRA Board members serve 5-year terms, though some 1- and 2-year terms have recently been added by the City Council to select commissions.

Additional information about each commission and board, including meeting agendas and minutes, is available on the individual commission and board webpages.

The City’s home page has announcements about applying for openings: Commission Application.
