Major joined the Department in 2003.  He and his partner, Officer John Jorgensen, successfully completed training in both street patrol and narcotics detection.

Officer Jorgensen and Major have completed and certified in the United States Police Canine Association Police Dog 1 (PD1) trials and narcotic trials in every year of service. 
Major has established himself as a valuable asset to the Department through his hard work and productivity on the street.

When not working, Major enjoys chasing tennis balls, swimming, and lounging around the house with his family.
