Wild Rice Festival

A celebration of wild rice, the Minnesota fall season and Native American culture!

Highlights include:
· Fundraising wild rice pancake breakfast
· Wild rice sausages, wild rice soup, fry bread, and more
· Traditional wild rice harvesting demonstrations
· Native American dance group and story-telling
· Children’s games and activities
· Hands-on apple cider pressing
· Silent auction, to raise funds to support the Nature Center
· And much more!

As usual, there is no admission charge. This will be a Zero Waste event thanks to the City of Roseville and Eureka Recycling.

The 8th Annual Wild Rice Festival is presented by volunteer members of the Friends of Roseville’s Harriet Alexander Nature Center (FORHANC). Proceeds from the event support the Nature Center (a part of the Roseville Parks and Recreation Department) and its mission of environmental education and outdoor recreation.
