Pathway Master Plan Update

Background
The Pathway Advisory Committee is working on updating the City of Roseville Pathway Master Plan.  This plan was first adopted by the City Council in 1997, with updates in 2001 and 2002.  The purpose of the Pathway Master Plan is to provide a set of guidelines for the development of the community's pathway network.

Scheduled Meetings

Aug 21   6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
City Hall Council Chambers

These guidelines provide policies and standards for the planning, design, construction, maintenance, promotion and regulation of Roseville’s pathway facilities.  The recommendations provided in the plan focus not only on the physical facilities, but also on education and enforcement as important components of a general program to promote safe pathway use.

The Pathway Master Plan Map depicts the City’s existing pathway system, the proposed pathway connections from the 2002 plan update, and the proposed pathway connections being considered for the 2008 update.

The master plan is adopted by reference in the City Comprehensive Plan and serves as a planning tool to assist the City Council on decisions regarding pathway issues.
