​How do I pay for my reservation? 

Payment can be submitted over the phone using a credit/debit card. You may also mail in a check or pay in person with a card, check or cash. 


When do I need to pay for my reservation?

A reservation is not guaranteed until a deposit of 50% of the room rental cost or full damage deposit amount is received. Reservation will not be accepted without the required deposit. Remaining balance is due no less than fourteen (14) days prior to the event. 


How does the damage deposit work?

All damage deposits are to be paid at the time of the reservation or due no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event- whichever is agreed upon by rental group and banquet manager.  Pending a post-event review by staff and if all policies are adhere to, full damage deposit will be submitted within 10 days of the event. You should receive it within 2-3 weeks of your event in the form of a check sent to the address on file. 


What happens if I need to cancel my event?

The rental may cancel a reservation by giving written notice to the Roseville Skating Center. If a written notice is received thirty (30) days or more prior to the date of the event, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. 


Will you provide staff or security for my event?

RSC will provide staff depending on the type of event; there will always be staff on site during all reservations that can assist you with any questions or issues that may arrise. We do require an off duty Roseville police officer to be present during events when alcohol is served.


What type of room layouts and types of tables do you provide?


Tables and chairs will be set up when the customer arrives on site.   We offer standard configurations or can customize a setup per customers' request.   We offer a variety of round (5 1/2 ft) or rectangular (6 foot or 8 foot) tables depending on the event. Cocktail  tables and portable bar(s) are available upon request. Rental groups will work directly with the Facilities Managers to finalized desired room layouts. 

Is A/V and sound equipment available?

Yes. For an additional cost, groups can utilize our projector, microphones, speaker equipment, etc. during their reservation. No cost of groups bring in their own equipment. 


Do you provide decorations or table linens? 

No. You will need to provide any desired decorations and tables cloths, chair covers, and napkins by renting through a caterer or rental company.

 
Are there any decorating restrictions?

All decorations hung on the walls must be hung with blue painters' tape or 3M command strips. Drapping is okay and can be hung by the ceiling tiles. Candles are allowed in our facility but must be in a glass container/vase that goes higher than the flame. Absolutely NO confetti or loose glitter is allowed. 


Is there a dance floor in the banquet rooms?

Yes. For an additional cost, a portable, wooden dance floor can be available upon request. 


Can I bring food in for my event? 


Food may be brought in from any licensed caterer or restaurant at no additional cost. A kitchen for food prep and storage is available with the Rose and Olympic room for an additional fee. 

Do you have a list of preferred caterers and vendors? 

Yes. Click here to view our preferred caterers list. However, we do have an open catering policy, so rental groups are allowed to utilize any licensed caterer. 


Can I bring in my own liquor?

No. We only allow liquor to be dispensed within the Roseville Skating Center under the following conditions: 


1. Beverage alcohol can only be served and consumed in the community rooms when proper approval received. Absolutely no alcohol is allowed outside the community rooms. Alcohol can be dispensed only to person's twenty-one years of age or older that are attending the event. 

2. Any caterer with a state liquor license in a community that physically adjoins Roseville may be used; a copy of the legal license and dram shop insurance must be on file with the Roseville Skating Center 2- weeks prior to the event. NO EXCEPTIONS. List of adjoining communities for liquor: Arden Hills, Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, Little Canada, Maplewood, Minneapolis, New Brighton, St. Anthony, St. Paul, or Shoreview. 
3. All events where liquor is served, an off duty Roseville Police officer must be hired and in attendance from the time the bar opens until it closes and all alcohol is either consumed or disposed. Renter will pay the hourly cost of the Police Officer. 


Am I allowed to hire a DJ or band for my event?

Yes. A DJ or band is allowed to play music for the event as long as it is not so loud that is disturbs other events in the building. 


What time do I receive access to the banquet rooms?

All set-up and tear-down must be within the group's reservation window; we are not able to store/hold decorations at our facilities. Banquet room are available for rent: Sunday-Thursday, 8 am - 10 pm; Friday & Saturday, 8 am - 12 am (midnight). 

Can I stop in to view the banquet rooms?

Yes. Groups are encouraged to stop in to view our banquet facilities. Please contact the Roseville Skating Center or Banquet Facilities Manager first to ensure other groups are not utilizing the room or schedule an appointment to view the rooms.
