Transportation Plan and Pathway Master Plan Update

As part of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update, the City of Roseville is required to update its Transportation Plan.  Additionally, the City will also be updating the Pathway Master Plan which was last updated in 2008.  In the Spring of 2017, the City hired WSB & Associates to assist in updating these plans.  The goal is to take input though out the summer and have draft plans submitted to City Council for approval by the end of the year.

Why does the Transportation Plan and Pathway Master Plan need to be updated?

Roseville has begun the process of reviewing the 2030 Transportation Plan and recalibrating it to ensure that it continues to reflect the community’s collective vision for its future and align with the Metropolitan Council’s plan for the region.  The Pathway Master Plan has not been updated in almost ten years and significant changes have been made throughout the City, including construction of numerous trails and sidewalks that may change the priorities and direction of the future plan.
