City Hall square

The Roseville City Council voted to extend Mayor Dan Roe’s declaration of a local emergency and city-wide curfew during a special afternoon meeting on Monday, June 1.

The resolution was adopted by the City Council to align with modified curfew extensions in the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul announced earlier Monday by Governor Tim Walz.

The resolution extends the period of local emergency in Roseville until June 8, 2020, and puts in place a curfew in the city from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. on the evenings of June 1 and June 2. The resolution also states that the Roseville Emergency Manager may declare additional curfew periods during the period of the local emergency.

The original emergency declaration issued by Mayor Roe on Friday, May 29 included an 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. curfew and expires at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1.
