If you’re looking to make a positive change in Roseville, then we encourage you to apply to serve as a City of Roseville Commissioner.

Commissioners serve as advisors to our City Council and City staff. With 7 commissions to choose from, there is a good chance that of finding a commission that will be a good fit for your passions and talents.

Don't Delay - The City Needs You!

A common misperception is that commission applicants must be experts in order to join one of the city’s Commissions. Yes, it helps to have a basic knowledge of Roseville Parks in order to be a Parks and Recreation Commissioner, but there are many other strengths that will add value to our commissions.

Perhaps the most valuable assets that you can bring to the community as a commissioner-- your voice and your time!

Open Roseville Commissions

With 7 commissions to choose from, there is a good chance that of finding a commission that will be a good fit for your passions and talents.

  • Finance Commission

    • Are you good at budgeting finances? The Finance commission’s role is to advise on short-term and long-term financial policy matters, including but not limited to cash reserve funds, budgets, financing, and capital replacement policies.

  • Parks and Recreation Commission

    • The Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission is an advisory committee that makes recommendations to the Director of Parks and Recreation, the City Manager and the Roseville City Council on all matters relating to parks and recreation programs, facilities and services.

  • Public Works Environment and Transportation Commission (PWET)

    • Do you have ideas on how we can better protect the environment and keep our community connected? The Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission advises the City Council, City Manager and the Director of Public Works on matters pertaining to public works infrastructure, connectivity, and environmental sustainability.
