Local artists Venla Vang, Fresh Vibes, and Briauna Williams create works of art with utility boxes as their canvas through the “Connecting Community to Lake McCarrons through Public Art” program.
The installations can be found along Rice St at Arlington Ave, Nebraska Ave, Wheelock Pkwy, and Larpenteur Ave. The four works were inspired by feedback about what Lake McCarrons means to community members.
Lake McCarrons Regional Park is an amazing neighborhood amenity for all Roseville residents to enjoy, celebrate, and protect. Through these installations, we can feel more connected to our local park even along the busy commercial corridor.
The “Connecting Community to Lake McCarrons through Public Art” program was generously supported with a partner grant from Capitol Region Watershed District, managed by The Musicant Group, and welcomed/permitted by the City of Saint Paul and Ramsey County.
