Infrastructure Improvements

Maintaining Roseville’s infrastructure is one of the city’s highest priorities. In 2017, Roseville has undertaken several projects to improve roadways and to maintain storm water and sanitary sewer systems. The work completed by the city helps to extend the life of roadways and the sewer system, saving money over the life of the infrastructure. The sanitary sewer main lining program extends the life of sanitary sewers by 50 or more years, for example. Read more

Human Rights Essay Contest

Students, join us for a human rights essay contest. The Roseville Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission challenges sixth, seventh and eighth students to discuss another challenging question. Contest rules are posted online and distributed to all public and private schools in the Roseville Area School District. Contact your principal or teacher for information. Wild Rice Festival

Wild Rice Festival is Coming

It’s a great day to celebrate wild rice, Native American culture and Minnesota’s fall season. Join us at Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC), 2520 N. Dale Street, on Saturday, September 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for Roseville’s Wild Rice Festival. We will have a day of free activities that celebrate foods harvested in the fall, natural history and traditional cultures of Minnesota. A goal of the festival is to provide education about local Native American cultures and traditions. Read more

Help Maintain Roseville Parks

Make an impact on Roseville parks and natural resources. Roseville is looking for volunteers to join our Natural Resources Renewal efforts to improve city parks. On September 16, we are seeking volunteers to help collect wild flower and grass seeds. Each month, Roseville hosts a volunteer opportunity at one of the local parks as part of the natural resources renewal project. It includes an educational component and status update of the overall natural resource restoration efforts. Read more
