Online Permit Success

In May 2017, the City of Roseville unveiled Accela, a new online permitting and inspections system. After just one year, approximately 46% of all permits and 56% of fees are now being transacted online. After setting up a free user account, residents and contractors can apply for permits, estimate fees, request inspections and pay fees entirely online, and do so 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The new system is saving time for city staff, homeowners, businesses and contractors. Read more

Join the Flower Power Team

Join Roseville’s Flower Power team and get your hands dirty. Volunteer to plant flowers at Roseville’s Central Park and help Roseville bloom. On May 19, we’re planting flowers along Lexington Ave. Rain or shine, we’ve got an ambitious day planned, and we’re looking for 120 volunteer to help plant flowers from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The boulevard will be divided into plots and volunteers will be assigned to each plot. The city will provide plants and tools. Read more

Street Sweeping

Spring Cleaning Starting Late

All that snow has put a damper on the Roseville’s spring-cleaning. The Public Works crew is anxious to turn in snowplows for street sweepers, but they’ll have to wait until the snow melts. Once the snow melts, crews will begin sweeping city streets, cleaning up sand and debris before it is washed into the storm sewer system. Crews will start work on main roadways and environmentally sensitive areas around lakes and wetlands. Then they’ll sweep the remaining streets. Read more

Dates to Drop off Leaves Extended

Due to the late spring snow, the city has extended the date for residents to drop off leaves at Roseville’s leaf recycling center, located on Dale Street, south of County Road C, to May 14. Only leaves are accepted at this location. Please dump your leaves and remove any bags. The gate will be open for residents to drive their vehicles into the center to drop off leaves at select times, but residents can drop off leaves at other hours by carrying them through the side gate. Read more

Citywide Garage Sale

Citywide Garage Sale

Roseville will help make your garage sale a little easier. Join us as the city sponsors a garage sale extravaganza that will help bring customers to your door May 31 to June 2. For $10, Roseville Parks and Recreation staff will include your address on a list and a map of garage sales taking place in Roseville that weekend. Sales can start after 8:00 a.m. and must be completed by 6:00 p.m. each day. Participants can hold sales on one, two or all three days and set their own start and ending times. Read more
