New K9 Ragnar

Ragnar on Duty

The City of Roseville welcomes Ragnar, Roseville’s newest K9. He and his handler, Police Officer Kyle Eckert, recently completed an intensive three-month training at the St. Paul Police K9 School. The rigorous training teaches police officers how to work with their police service dogs. Training includes obedience, agility, tracking, article searches, muzzle work and apprehension. Officers train outdoors every day, regardless of weather conditions. Read more

Rose Parade Grand Marshals Named

Please join Community Grand Marshals Merl, Cami and Rick Goodmanson representing the Goodmanson Construction and celebrity Grand Marshal Olympian Lee Stecklein, for the Rose Parade on Monday, June 25. This year the parade is honoring the Goodmanson Construction Company. Goodmanson is a Roseville-based construction company with a strong commitment to community involvement. They have been strong supporters of many programs over the years. Read more

Cedarholm Closure

Cedarholm Temporarily Closed

With construction of the new community building at Cedarholm Golf Course rapidly nearing completion, the course will close its doors for a few days next week to reconstruct the parking lot. Cedarholm Golf Course will be closed from Monday, June 4 through Wednesday, June 6 to complete the pavement work. Due to the site location, equipment involved and nature of the work, the course cannot safely remain open. Read more

Bring the kids, bring a treat, bring a comfy seat and enjoy a movie under the stars. Join Roseville Parks and Recreation on Friday, June 15 at 7:30 p.m. for an evening of free family fun. We are showing the Disney film Moana. Moana is the strong-willed daughter of a chief of a Polynesian village. She is chosen by the ocean to reunite a mystical relic with a goddess. When a blight strikes her island, Moana sets sail in search of Maui, a legendary demigod, in the hope of saving her people. Read more

Friday Funtastic Field Trips

Kids, school’s almost out. Grab your friends and fill your Fridays with fun. Spend your summer with Roseville Parks and Recreation. Each Friday we offer exciting adventures to kid-friendly hotspots. Days are packed with activities to entertain kids six years and older. Trips are chaperoned by attentive staff, but please use your discretion to decide whether your child is mature enough to attend events on his/her own. Read more
