City Offices Closed Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Roseville City offices, including the License Center, will be closed on Monday, January 21 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Roseville Police and Fire will remain on duty. Garbage and recycling services will not be affected by the holiday.

Roseville Trims Boulevard Trees

Winter is a great time to trim trees and shrubs. And city crews have been hard at work. Trimming in winter prevents insects and diseases from harming trees. Pruning can improve a tree’s structure and overall health. The Roseville Public Works crew’s goal is to trim approximately 20% of city trees in the winter months. City staff receive training in the latest pruning techniques. They remove overgrowth and damaged limbs.

Fix-It Clinic

Don’t toss it, fix it. Ramsey County is hosting a Fix-It Clinic at the Ramsey County Library in Roseville, 2180 Hamline Ave., on Saturday, January 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Bring small household appliances, clothing, electronics or other items that need to be repaired to the Roseville Library. Volunteers will provide free guided assistance to help disassemble, troubleshoot and fix items. Registration is not required. Repairs will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Read more

On Sunday, February 10, Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) in Roseville invites you to join them in celebrating the Chinese New Year – The Year of the Pig – at its annual open house. Doors will be open from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Join us as we celebrate pigs. Learn fun facts about pigs, enjoy Chinese New Year crafts and traditional treats, check out the nature center, explore the boardwalk and enjoy informative exhibits. Read more

Safety Awareness and Self Defense

Enroll your child in a safety awareness and self-defense class and your child will benefit from the skills learned for years to come. Anyone, five years and older, is invited to take this class. Participants will improve concentration, increase strength and balance and enhance coordination. Classes meet at Central Park School, 535 County Road B-2, on Thursday evenings February 7 through March 28. Participants are placed in classes based on age and skill, and they learn self-discipline and defense. Read more
