Storm Sewer Drains

Clearing Storm Sewer Drains 

Rain on top of rapidly melting snow can create conditions for flooding. Public Works crews are working to open snow-impacted storm sewer drains across the city to help reduce the flooding potential. Work is being done methodically, with priority given to low-lying areas and areas with homes below street level that may be vulnerable to flooding. Staff limitations will keep crews from getting to all of Roseville’s 4,000+ storm drains this week, however. Read more

Pothole Repair

Winter is always tough on streets and roadways. The rain and slush and the freeze and thaw cycle is an ideal mix for making potholes. As temperatures fluctuate, and rain falls and snow melts, water gets into cracks in the pavement. When the temperature drops, the water freezes and expands, popping out asphalt and creating potholes. Street crews repair known potholes in order of priority. Residents are encouraged to let us know about potholes on city streets.  Read more

The Roseville Alzheimer's and Dementia Community Action Team’s Dementia: Caring & Coping series returns to the Roseville Library on Thursday, March 14. This month’s presentation is on how to pay for care. Attendees will learn how to leverage benefits and assets. The importance of financial planning for Long Term Care (LTC), including the benefits and costs of various types of public and private pay, will also be discussed.

Swing into Spring

Get the clubs ready. As soon as the weather turns, Roseville’s Cedarholm Golf Course will be open for business. The nine-hole, par-three course offers open golfing, tournaments and youth, lady, senior and evening leagues. The new Cedarholm Community Building has a pro shop and concessions and meeting rooms that can be rented for special events. Returning youth, ladies, co-rec and senior league registration is occurring now. New league member registration begins March 25. Read more
