MN Chiefs Feature Roseville Officer

What does it take to wear the badge? The Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association has created a series of videos to help answer that question. In their most recent installment, they’ve highlighted Roseville Police Officer Crystal Jones. Jones started working as a Community Services Officer in Roseville in 2013. After completing training, she became a sworn office in 2014. She currently works as the city’s school liaison officer (SLO).  Read more

Welcome New Americans

Join us in welcoming our newest American citizens. Roseville will host a Naturalization Ceremony on Thursday, May 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the Roseville Skating Center, 2661 Civic Center Drive. This is the sixth year that Roseville has hosted a naturalization ceremony. The Roseville Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission, working with the U.S. District Court of Minnesota, is hosting the ceremony. Citywide Garage Sale

Citywide Garage Sale

Roseville will help make your spring garage sale a little easier. Join us as the city sponsors a garage sale extravaganza that will help bring customers to your door. For $10, Roseville Parks and Recreation staff will include your address on a list and map of garage sales that will take place in Roseville from May 30 to June 1. Sales can start after 8:00 a.m. and must be completed by 6:00 p.m. each day. Participants can hold sales on one, two or all three days. Read more

CPR Class at Roseville Library

Got an hour – learn how to save a life. Roseville firefighters invite you to one of their free, hands-only cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) classes at the Roseville Library. Firefighters will teach an easy-to-learn hands-only CPR technique. Cardiac arrest occurs when the heart stops and can no longer pump blood to the brain or vital organs. According to the American Heart Association, only about one in 10 heart attack victims survives. Read more

CHAT: Advanced Directives

How can you ensure that your wishes will be followed if you are incapacitated by illness or injury? Find out on Monday, April 29 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ramsey County Library in Roseville, 2180 Hamline Ave. Roseville’s Community Health Awareness Team (CHAT) is hosting Advanced Directives: Spotlight on Health Care Agents. Attorney Brenna Galvin and Deborah Day Laxson, author of “The Gray Zone: When Life Support No Longer Supports Life,” will lead the seminar. Read more
