Environmental Efforts Recognized

The City of Roseville is now a Step 3 City in the Minnesota GreenStep Cities program. Roseville received the award at the League of Minnesota Cities annual conference on June 27 for its efforts to continue implementing best practices. The City of Roseville has worked hard to apply best practices to fulfill sustainability goals, including work on a complete (living) streets program, a sustainable purchasing policy and extreme weather preparedness. Read more

RSVL A/D: The Housing Decision

Curious about senior housing for yourself or a loved one? Join the Roseville Alzheimer’s and Dementia Community Action Team (RSVL A/D) for the first of a three-part series on Thursday, July 11. The series will be held at the Ramsey County Library in Roseville, 2180 North Hamline Ave. It is designed to help individuals considering senior housing make an informed decision about making the move. Commission Opening

Planning Commission Openings

The Roseville City Council is seeking applicants for two vacancies on the Planning Commission. Commissioners will be appointed to partial terms; one expires March 31, 2020 and the other expires March 31, 2021. The Planning Commission provides a forum for input into specific planning applications and development plans and policies. The Commission identifies significant issues and makes recommendations to the City Council. It meets the first Wednesday of the month. Read more

Join the City of Roseville as we say thank you to the 1,600 volunteers who donated more than 5,300 hours to the City of Roseville in 2018. They will be honored at a free concert on Tuesday, July 23. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Frank Rog Amphitheatre in Central Park, 2540 Lexington Ave., and will feature the Roseville Community Band. Stop in and thank the volunteers for their help, enjoy the free music and learn about volunteer opportunities for the City of Roseville. Read more

Walk at the Skating Center

Cool off!

Rain or shine, no matter what the temperature, we got a place for you. Grab your sweater and tennis shoes and head over to the Roseville Skating Center, 2661 Civic Center Drive. Enjoy temperatures hovering around 55º and take a free walk around the Indoor Ice Arena. The walking track can be used whenever the Skating Center is open and school hockey games are not being played. Seven times around makes a mile – it’s a cool way to spend a hot day! Read more
