2020 Budget

2020 Preliminary Budget

Investing in Roseville’s existing assets and public safety personnel was the theme of City Manager Patrick Trudgeon’s 2020 preliminary budget recommendation during the City Council’s Monday, August 12 meeting. The $62.6 million budget calls for the city to increase its capital outlay by more than 60 percent in 2020 to $15.5 million. The vast majority of the recommended $6 million increase is a one-time $5 million investment for the 26-year old Guidant John Rose MN OVAL. Read more

Become a Roseville Firefighter

Do you have what it takes to be a firefighter? The City of Roseville is seeking applications for fulltime firefighters. Eligibility includes Firefighter I and II certifications, emergency medical technician and hazardous materials operations. Preferred training includes paramedic license and fire inspector. Roseville firefighters respond to more than 5,000 medical, rescue and fire calls per year. They work a 24-hour rotating shift. Applications will be accepted from August 21 to August 30. Read more

State Fair Parking

State Fair Parking

The State Fair is around the corner, and the big question is what’s the best way to get there. The State Fair offers several options including free shuttles to the fair via park-and-ride lots throughout the metro area. There are 15 park-and-ride lots in Roseville. It’s a great service for fair guests, but it has created some problems for residents living near the park-and-ride locations. As lots filled, guests often parked on both sides of the street along the nearby blocks. Read more

Fall Golfing Leagues

Roseville’s fall golf leagues will begin soon, and we still have a few spots available. Sign up today for league play. We offer a variety of times to fit your schedule. League members will have standing tee times. Call 651-633-TEES (8337) to sign up for a league. Pay as you play. Registration fee is $8.00 and green fees are $11.00 plus tax. Roseville Cedarholm Golf Course is a par 3, nine-hole course of 1,345 yards. It is located at 2323 North Hamline Ave., one block north of Highway 36. Read more

This designation recognizes Roseville for taking steps to encourage solar energy growth and remove obstacles to solar development. For companies looking to expand, a SolSmart Gold designation is a signal that Roseville is open for solar business. As a SolSmart designee, Roseville is helping reduce the cost solar. Read more
