The Roseville Gymnastics Center is one of the premier gymnastics facilities in the metro area; the perfect place to learn basic tumbling skills or perfect skills for team competitions. We offer something for everyone, from preschool gymnastics, instructional, or our competitive team gymnastics program.  

Registration Information

Registration opens at 8:00 am and all gymnasts must be registered before participation.  Classes often fill, so please do your best to be prompt with registrations. We do not take registrations on the first day of class. Preschool classes sizes are limited to 10 participants and Instructional classes to 16 participants. Roseville Gymnastics reserves the right to cancel any classes with less than 6 participants enrolled.


Location Information

All classes will be held at the Roseville Gymnastics Center.  The gymnastics facility is attached to Roseville Area High School on the North side of the building, near the football stadium.  1238 W. County Rd. B2.  Roseville, MN 55113

Spring: March 24-May 17 (Registration opens March 11)

Summer: July 7-August 21 (Registration opens May 20) 

Fall: September 8-November 8 (Registration opens August 26)

Preschool Class Descriptions (Ages 3-5)

Learn basic movement and tumbling skills.
Beginner 2
(Ages 3-5)
Mastered Beginner 1 skills, able to perform forward roll, donkey kicks, and walk on low beam unassisted.  
Intermediate 
(Ages 3-5)
Mastered Beginner 2 skills and able to perform a bridge and walk on high balance beam.  
Advanced 
(Ages 3-5)
Advanced level classes for gymnasts who have mastered Intermediate skills and are able to perform a forward roll and cartwheel unassisted.  Continue to transition skills toward regulation equipment.

Beginner 1 
(Ages 6-12)
Emphasis on tumbling skills with exposure to balance beam and uneven bars. 
Beginner 2
(Ages 6-12)
Expand on skills learned in Beginner I.  Able to perform cartwheel on floor and walk on high balance beam unassisted.  
Intermediate 1
(Ages 7-12)
Able to perform pullover on bars, bridge kickover on floor and a round off on tramp. 
Intermediate 2
(Ages 7-12)
Able to perform backhipcircle on bars, cartwheel on low beam and a backhandspring on tramp. 
Advanced 1
(Ages 7-12)
Mastered Intermediate II skills.  Able to perform a handspring flatback on vault, squat on bards, handstand on beam and a roundoff backhandspring on tramp.  Emphasis on strength, flexibility and form. 
Advanced 2
(Ages 10-14)
Able to perform front and back handspring on floor, backwalkover on beam and glide kip on bars.  Prepares gymnast for high school team. 

Team Gymnastics

Gymnasts can also compete at the Team Level(levels 4-10), in competitions throughout the state, region and country. The Roseville Gymnastics Team is supported by the Roseville Gymnastics Association.
