Rosefest Parade Grand Marshals

Each year the Volunteer Rose Parade Committee selects Grand Marshals for the Rose Parade.

This year, the Volunteer Parade Committee chose three Grand Marshals who contributed significantly during the pandemic.

Dr. Etienne Djevi, along with Roseville Police and Fire Departments, will lead off the parade in recognition of their commitment to the community.

World War II Vet Celebrates 100th Birthday on the Links

It's safe to assume that Rod Davies is one of Minnesota's oldest golfers. In June, at Cedarholm Golf Course in Roseville, the longtime patron celebrated his 100th birthday.

"Well, I've been golfing for 76 years," says Davies. "My intent to keep it up is, if I can-- if I'm able to-- that's really what it amounts to."

Roseville Police Release Traffic Stop Report / Gun Giveback Event Results

In 2017, all Ramsey County agencies that contract dispatch services with Ramsey County Emergency Communication Center began voluntarily collecting data on every traffic stop made. The goals of the countywide initiative are to increase transparency and provide more context to the limited data that were previously captured. View the 2021 Traffic Stop Report.

On Wednesday, RPD hosted a Gun Giveback event at the police department.
34 unwanted guns and over 1,000 rounds of ammunition were voluntarily received from our community. Similar to unused prescription drugs, this event gave residents and community members an option to safely get rid of their guns so that they don't fall into the wrong hands.

By nature, family-run businesses place an added emphasis on people. The personal service offered by small business proprietors centers around ensuring customers receive what they need. For A-1 Vacuum of Roseville, that service takes on extra meaning.

“Our philosophy is to be there for people as we “fight the good fight” against the buy-it, break-it, throw-it-away cycle,” said Russ Battisto, A-1 Vacuum CFO. “Our customers count on us to keep many of their vacuums and extractors running as long as possible.”
