Senior Health Fair

Roseville firefighters invite you to a free Senior Health Fair on Wednesday, October 30 at the Fire Station from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The fair will feature flu and pneumonia vaccinations, blood pressure checks and more. Firefighters will conduct blood pressure checks and distribute Vial of Life forms, with Cub Pharmacy staff on hand to give flu and pneumonia vaccinations. Several other community organizations that offer health and safety information will be in attendance. Read more

Have a "Spook-tacular” Saturday

Goblins, ghostly games, storytelling and a horse-drawn wagon ride await you at Harriet Alexander Nature Center, 2520 Dale St. Put on your costume and join us for a Spook-tacular evening of fun on Saturday, October 26. Family fun includes an interactive animal experience with Bruce the Bug Guy, a carnival hall with prizes, refreshments, and entertainment by musician Bill Cagley at the Halloween fire circle. Dementia: Caring & Coping

Join the Roseville Alzheimer’s and Dementia Community Action Team for its October Dementia: Caring & Coping presentation on Lewy Body Dementia (LBD) at the Roseville Library on Thursday, October 10 at 1:00 p.m. This month’s event, What makes LBD Different from other Dementias, will discuss the challenges faced by care partners and persons living with the disease. The two-hour, multiple-speaker presentation will feature the latest medical research and more. Read more

Minnesota’s Cold Weather Rule

Having trouble paying your energy bill? Xcel Energy reminds residents that the Cold Weather Rule will help protect you from service disconnection. Under the rule, income eligible residential customers are protected from service disconnection between October 15 and April 15, if the disconnection would affect your primary heating source. Gun Safety Locks

Free Gun Safety Locks

Hunting season is about to begin, so it’s a good time to make sure your firearms are properly secured. Roseville Police are offering free gun locks to residents. Stop in at the Police Department during business hours. The gun locks were donated by Project ChildSafe, a firearm safety education and gun lock program designed to raise awareness about gun safety. The National Shooting Sports Foundation developed the program.
