Scheduled Dance and Drumming Performances

  • 11:00 AM – Little Earth Singers & Dancers

All Day (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Food & Marketplace

  • Pow Wow Grounds Food Truck – Featuring frybread tacos and other favorites
  • Wild Harvest Lemonade - Fresh-squeezed lemonade and other delicious beverages
  • Wild Food Sales – Wild rice, honey, jams, mushrooms (R&R Cultivation), maple syrup and treats (Faxon Farms and Come on Over Sugarbush)
  • Native Craft Sales – Handmade art, jewelry, and goods by Native vendors

Hands-On Activities

  • Apple Cider Pressing & Samples – Try your hand add making fresh cider and have a sample
  • Wild Rice Demonstrations – Learn about traditional harvest and processing methods from an experienced harvester
  • Nature Journaling – Create your own journal 
  • Community Paper Quilt – Add your square to this collaborative project
  • Nashke Native Games – Play Ojibwe language games and shop merchandise
  • Pollinator Bioblitz – Help count and record pollinators
  • Wild Rice Taste Test - Which do you prefer, cultivated or traditionally harvested?

  • Water Legacy

  • Harriet Alexander Nature Center - all about Wild Rice habitat
  • Gibbs Farm -featuring a tipi and bracelet making activity
  • Friends of the Boundary Waters - featuring portaging activity

Closing

  • 4:00 PM – Festival wraps up. Thank you for joining us!
