Roseville Sustainable Steward Award
About
The Roseville Sustainable Steward program is funded and supported by the City to recognize and reward residents and business for incorporating sustainability and energy efficiency best practices in Roseville. Residents or businesses taking any sustainable action can be rewarded with either a window cling or a yard sign for your good work!
Your actions or project may also be eligible for our Sustainable Steward Annual Award! The winning residents, businesses, or properties will be highlighted at a City Council meeting and on the City's website.
To be considered for the Annual Award, applications must be postmarked (if sent by mail) or received electronically by December 31. Winners will be notified the following January and recognized at a City Council meeting.
Silver Award: $250
Bronze Award: $100
Eligibility
Residential and commercial properties in Roseville are eligible. Builders or owners of the properties must submit the application, however the property owner must agree to comply with all contest requirements. Properties must be in full compliance with city ordinances and codes. All applicants must agree to have pictures of their home or business with address displayed on the City’s website.
Judging
Selections are based on information provided on the application form, as well as from photos of the home or business before and after the improvement. Properties that use a combination of the following good management practices will rank highly:
- Energy efficiency
- Indoor environmental quality
- Site and community impact
- Water conservation
- Renewable energy
