Eureka Recycling

Roseville switched to Single Sort Recycling on February 17, 2014. Roseville contracts with Eureka Recycling for recycling service on behalf of residents. Recycling is picked up every other week. The city is divided into zones which determine the day of service. Service will be delayed a day for certain holidays.  To see what zone you are in, and when your collection may be modified by a holiday, see the Recycling Zones and Calendar below.

If you would like to start recycling, or would like a different size bin, email Eureka Recycling or call 612-NO-WASTE (612-669-2783). With Single Sort recycling, paper products, bottles and cans can be placed in the same bin, excluding type 3 and 6 plastics. You can also recycle clean and dry Clothes and Linens by placing them into a labeled sturdy plastic bag set beside your cart.

About the Services

Recycling should be placed at the curb by 7 a.m., and it's helpful to put recycling on the opposite side of the driveway from your trash. Seniors and people with disabilities may sign up with Eureka Recycling for free walk up service where the driver will pick up your recyclables at your garage door or stoop.

At apartment and condominium complexes recycling is collected in carts located near trash dumpsters. Carts are single sort so you don’t have to separate your paper, bottles & cans into different containers. For more information, see the sorting guidelines which are the same as the curbside program. Carts will typically be emptied once a week, usually on Fridays. For free information, posters, and flyers for your building, call Eureka Recycling at 612-NO-WASTE (612-669-2783).

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

You may have heard of the 3 Rs - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. It's more important to reduce than reuse which in turn is more important than to recycle. Putting all 3 into personal practice benefit the economy and the environment.
