Natural Resources Volunteer Event

Saturday, November 15, 2025

Join city staff and volunteers in restoring the natural areas in Materion Park. Volunteers can expect to cut, stack, and treat buckthorn and other woody invasive plants in preparation for our MLK day seeding event in January. 

Meet at the park entrance at Minnesota Ave and Marion St. Don't forget your gloves and water bottle!
