City Council Approves Conversion Therapy Ban

In a unanimous decision November 8, City of Roseville council members voted to ban “conversion therapy” within the city.

The vote was proposed to the Human Rights Inclusion and Engagement Commission (HRIEC) in April by a concerned citizen. After six months of engagement and public comment on the ordinance, the council voted on the ban this week.

City of Roseville Honors our Rich Native American Heritage

The deep Native American history in the State of Minnesota goes back 10,000 years. Minnesota is home to eleven Tribal Nations and a resilient and robust urban Native American community.

The City of Roseville joins other cities across the state in celebrating Native American Heritage Month, and November 26 as Native American Heritage Day.

We continue to find ways to honor the unique heritage of this continent's First People, and reaffirm the commitment to respect each tribe's sovereignty and cultural identity.

Fall Campfire Accessories

Mike Vukich originally created the Windtinder one damp morning while camping on the North Shore. It was very difficult to get the fire started and there was no good way to provide airflow to the fire. He came back home and developed the fire stoking fan, which can also be used as a personal cooling fan on hot summer days. The Windtinder fan is well designed for optimal air flow to lightly coax small embers as well as assist in stoking a well-burning fire.

Windtinder values durable and handmade goods. It also offers other Minnesota-made outdoor products as well as clothing and accessories.
