Water Service Line Responsibility

The water pipe that connects a home or business to the City water main in the street is called a service line. Property owners are responsible for their service lines from the building to, and including, the connection to the City water main.

Water Service Line Leaks

If you suspect there is a leak in your water service line, contact Public Works and we will assist in determining if you have a leak on your private service.

Repair of any service line leak is the responsibility of the property owner.
