HANC Interpretive Center

Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm 

Sunday 1:00 pm  -4:00 pm 

The Interpretive Center is free and open to the public, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers. Whether you’re stopping in for a quiet visit or exploring with your family, or the Interpretive Center offers something for every age and level of curiosity.

Features include:

  • A large, life-like tree that anchors the exhibit space
  • Interactive displays exploring wildlife
  • A play campsite designed for imaginative learning
  • A puppet theater and animal puppets for creative storytelling 
  • Live animal ambassadors
  • Artifacts on display
  • A reference library with field guides and nature resources

Admission:
Free of charge.  Donations are appreciated and help support programs and animal care.

Location:
 2520 Dale St. N, Roseville MN 55113. The Interpretive Center is up the path through the large metal signs.

Accessibility:
 The Interpretive Center is wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Restrooms:
 Indoor restrooms and drinking fountain are available inside the Interpretive Center during open hours.

Guidelines for Visiting

  1. Use nature center equipment and exhibits safely and appropriately.
  2. Treat volunteers, staff, and other visitors with kindness and respect.
  3. Adult visitors are responsible for the supervision of the children in their care at all times.
  4. Shoes are required.
  5. Picnics may be held outside only.
  6. Groups of 10+ must schedule a time in advance - contact naturecenter@cityofroseville.com 

Visitors who cannot abide by these guidelines will be asked to leave.
