Police Civil Service Commission

Overview & Functions


The Police Civil Service Commission has three members and:
  • Reviews the employment practices of the Police Department to ensure they are fair and reasonable as authorized by state statute
  • Objectively monitors and makes determinations concerning employment practices rather than advocating for either police personnel or management
