If your incident is an emergency, call 911. If non-emergency call 651-767-0640.

2. What if this happened in another city can I file a report using this online police citizen reporting system?

No. If a crime took place outside of the City of Roseville, please call the police department for that city.

3. What if the incident happened on an interstate freeway or highway?

If the incident took place on Interstate 35 or Highway 36, please call the Minnesota State Patrol (9-1-1) to report the incident.

4. What is a known or possible suspect?

A known suspect is when you or someone else knows the person or where to find the person who committed the crime or the license plate number of the vehicle the suspect(s) were in.

5. What is a crime “motivated by bias?"

When you, the victim, believes the offender was motivated to commit the act based on race, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability or characteristics identified as sexual orientation.

6. What information do I need to gather to complete an online report?

Who, is reporting the incident or owns the property (name, date of birth, contact information); What was lost, stolen or damaged (make, model, serial number, description, estimated value of loss)- photos are helpful; When it happened (date and time); Where it happened (the address).
